NSJ Taskforce Update 9/19/2011:
- 1750 RU's and 10,000 sqft of retail over 5 phases.
- Phase 1 complete summer 2012, Phase 2 done summer 2013, this is an expedited schedule.
- 5-acre park completed December 2013. Includes tennis, basketball courts.
Update 10/6/2010: Jean called Joe Horwedel (planner, city of San Jose) inquiring about the status of the Irvine Site. He said:
"Irvine is working on their first phases. He meet with them. They are in the building devision doing plan check for the first phase of 364 units and 11,600 sqft of commercial space. Irvine is also talking with Joe's staff and planner for phases 2 & 3 working through some design issues. Their goal is to be coming out of the ground this spring for these at least one of those phases and potentiality 2 and 3 phases. That is why you see some work going on out there. They are getting ready: gutting out the buildings that will come down with phase one."
